AmChams CEE: How Will the Biden Economic Policy Impact the World?
Date(s) - 07/12/2020
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
THE AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN BULGARIA
is pleased to invite its members
to join a special intelligence session on December 7th, 17:30 – 18:30h.
The election is over. Now governing begins. As the world works to overcome Covid, economic power ebbs and flow globally, technology disrupts what we do and how we work, and the climate continues to change, the decisions the next administration makes will have a major influence on our progress, and, especially, on our economic well-being. What are the Biden’s administration priorities? How will Congress react to them?
Join a special AmCham intelligence session to debate the shape of American economic policy over the next four years with:
- John Boehner, former Speaker of the House of Representatives
John Boehner is an American Republican politician who represented Ohio in the U.S. House of Representatives (1991–2015). During his tenure, he served as majority leader (2006), minority leader (2007–11), and speaker of the House (2011–15).
- Joe Crowley, former Chair of the House Democratic Caucus
Joseph Crowley is an American politician and lobbyist who served as U.S. Representative from New York’s 14th congressional district from 1999 to 2019.
Marjorie A. Chorlins, senior vice president for European Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, leads the organization’s policy development and advocacy related to trade and investment with Europe. She is also executive director of the U.S.-UK Business Council.
With more than 30 years of experience in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, Chorlins has focused on forging consensus among competing points of view.
