Bulgaria as the Newest Top Nearshoring Destination
As a follow-up from the “Bulgaria as a New Top Nearshoring Destination”, July 30th, 2020, all bilateral chambers that take part in the project sent an official letter to the Ministry of Economy and the Invest Bulgaria Agency. The event gathered 200 participants – representatives of the chambers, members, media.
The letter expresses gratitude of the joint efforts that both parties have invested to structure the event and to build momentum. “It is hardly possible even at European level to find such example of inter-institutional cooperation uniting so many partners from state administration and the business in one direction.”
The chambers have outlined some priorities that should be considered as part of the common strategy and approach in order to develop the process in the next stage:
- The need of continuous building and supporting of the reputation of Bulgaria as an investment destination and nearshoring one, including building them on new successful examples.
- The need to guarantee the rule of law, including the legal rights of business, both in foreign and domestic investments.
- The need of more complete and detailed information on the macroeconomic and economic indicators of Bulgaria.
