Business Breakfast with The Bulgarian Government

The Annual Business Breakfast with the Bulgarian Government welcomed around 300 members and partners of the AmCham Bulgaria.

The event  was opened by Petar T. Ivanov, Executive Director of AmCham.

In his key-note speech the AmCham Bulgaria President Olivier Marquette highlighted the key initiatives that the Chamber did over the past year to promote Bulgaria as an excellent location for investments and venture capital.

On behalf of the U.S. Embassy in Bulgaria Justin Friedman, Charge d’Affair address the audience highlighting the success stories of American companies through the year, thanking the Prime Minister of his efforts to lead to a successful closure of the F-16 Deal of the Bulgarian Air Force, and acknowledging AmCham Bulgaria for the vision and leadership to improve the trade relations with the United States.

The Prime Minister Boyko Borissov stressed that the purchase of F-16 Block 70 was strategic decisions of the Government that faced severe opposition but the Government sustained.
