PR, Communication and CSR Working Group Meeting
On April 17th, 2019 the PR, Marketing, and CSR Working Group held its second meeting this year.
Key-note speaker was Iliana Zaharieva, Corporate Communications Director, A1 Bulgaria. She presented the vast and multi-channel project of the Rebranding of A1 Bulgaria in 2018. “Our goal was to be everywhere. It was our key priority and we managed to achieve by executing our plan and within budget,” – she said. “The project was something that went through the whole organization – everyone was excited about the future and how the telecom will change. In fact, our rebranding project wasn’t just about changing a logo. It included special focus on our people and on our customers. We wanted to leave in the past our setbacks, our mistakes, and to jump into the future with a sharp branding, excellent service, and client-oriented culture.”
The Bulgarian Giving Report 2019 was exclusively presented by Iva Petkova, bCause Foundation. “The good news is that 51% of the Bulgarians donated in 2018. However, the majority of them donate randomly and in cash despite the modern ways of charity,” she explained.
On behalf of AmCham Bulgaria the implemented projects and the future plans were presented by Daniel Kiryakov, Communications Manager of the Chamber. “There was a lot of development and ongoing projects in the Chamber over the past two months. Our joint event Explore USA was a huge success. Together with the U.S. Embassy in Sofia we welcomed more than 120 guests from various companies – members and non-members – participated,” he said. Also, the Chamber made significant steps ahead its positioning in Europe and before the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, as well as it is planning an important event on innovations and start-ups.
The 2nd meeting of the PR, Marketing, and CSR Working Group of AmCham Bulgaria was hosted at TELUS Tower, where is the HQ of TELUS International Europe, proud member of the Chamber.
