The Pink Door: Open the Door to a Healthier Future

Remind me with
iCalDear AmCham Members,
For a third year in a row, AmCham Bulgaria is bringing its members and partners together to continue an important conversation about women’s health, prevention, and early detection. This year, our initiative improves the topic with the metaphor of The Pink Door because we aim to continue to open the way to a healthier future – through prevention, early detection, informed choices and support. We will bring together voices from the business and healthcare communities, as well as institutions and media, to explore women’s health from a broader perspective and discuss how we can turn awareness into meaningful action.
What to expect
The program will explore three interconnected areas:
- Breast cancer: prevention, early detection, access to treatment and follow-up;
- Mental health: the impact of cancer diagnosis, resilience and wellbeing;
- Women’s health at work: the role of employers, best practices, and new perspectives.
We are pleased to bring together experts and practitioners from the healthcare and business communities, including:
- Gergana Bogdanova, Managing Director, One in 8 Foundation
- Dr. Vanya Mitova, Breast Surgeon
- Boryana Alexieva, M.D., Healthcare Committee Co-Chair, Johnson & Johnson Bulgaria
- Business voices: sharing employer practices and approaches to supporting employees’ health and prevention.
The program will offer an open and practical conversation with care focused on prevention, early detection, mental wellbeing and the role of employers in supporting healthier workplaces.
Be Part of The Pink Door
This year, we want The Pink Door to go beyond a single event and create opportunities for the AmCham community for a broader engagement.
Here it is how you can take part:
- Join us on October 28th, at the Sense Hotel, tell your colleagues and come together.
- Enrich the conversation by sharing your existing or planned initiatives on women’s and men’s health.
- Let your campaigns merge with the AmCham community for a greater impact. If your company is organizing a health screening, awareness campaign, educational session or other activity that could be opened to employees and/or AmCham members, we would be happy to explore how it could become part of The Pink Door.
If you would like to contribute to the business panel or make an initiative available to the community, please contact Iva Pavlova at iva@amcham.bg.
Open the door with us – by sharing your experience, your initiatives and opportunities for others to take part.
Further details and registration information will follow.
We look forward to seeing you there!
