On February 27th, 2026, the second presentation of AmCham Bulgaria Hackathon 3.0 took place at Paisiy Hilendarski University of Plovdiv. In front of a full audience, organized by Senior Assistant Professor Megi Dakova, Plovdiv students learned about the initiative in a multi-themed presentation that included the goals and benefits of the Hackathon, shared by Daniel Kiryakov, and the opportunities for teamwork on cases presented by professionals from two of the participating companies – Sensata Technologies and MOTO-PFOHE – Antoaneta Petrova and Biser Petrov. A highlight was the presence of one of the two winning teams from AmCham Bulgaria Hackathon 2025 – Team Senasata, made up of students from Plovdiv University. Doncho Grozev shared, that thanks to their excellent teamwork and their qualities, he began his professional career at Senasata due to participating in the competition.
The participating teams will be formed by students from four universities (for now): Technical University of Sofia, FEBA, Sofia University – Faculty of Economics, SU, University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (UCTM), and Paisiy Hilendarski University of Plovdiv. Each team will develop a solution to a specific practical case provided by companies that are members of AmCham Bulgaria.
