AmCham Business Breakfast with the Government of Bulgaria
Today the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria discussed strategic topics with the Government of Bulgaria including sustainable economic growth of Bulgaria, rule of law, education, energy strategy, diversification, and decarbonization, healthcare. All of them are part of the AmCham Bulgaria’s Priorities and are key focus areas of the Chamber’s committees work to identify gaps and to provide solutions that benefit whole sectors and stakeholders. The discussion was part of the AmCham Event Calendar and welcomed 250 guests – members, partners, institutions representatives, academia, ambassadors to Bulgaria, and media – at the Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia.
The event was attended by Nikolay Denkov, Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Asen Vassilev, Minister of Finance, Bogdan Bogdanov, Minister of Economy and Industry, Prof. Galin Tsokov, Minister of Education and Science, as well as Martin Gikov, Deputy Minister of Innovations and Growth, and Emil Dachev, Deputy Minister of Justice.
Guest of honor was Andrea Brouillette-Rodrigues, Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy in Bulgaria.

AmCham Bulgaria is organizing the traditional and high-profile format of our public institutional dialog – The Business Breakfast with the Government of Bulgaria to take place at Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia, Ballroom, on September 26th, 2023 at 09:00 a.m.
Over the years at these events the Chamber presents its priorities, outlines the key moments of achievements in the U.S.-Bulgaria economic relationship, delivers messages for improvement of the bilateral ties. In general – we aim to engage further with the current government by having the Prime Minister, and key Ministers in a structured, factual, and result-oriented discussion with our members. Such events have usually the “Transatlantic” in their title, which is often combined with the main priorities for Bulgaria, Europe and the United States, such as energy transformation, diversification and decarbonization, innovation and digitalization, human capital development and education, and – as expected – the rule of law and the enhancement of the investment climate.
