Three Members’ Stories About Engagement

On November 27, 2023, the AmCham Human Capital and Education Committee had a meeting dedicated to employee engagement.

Focusing on the challenges of the day for companies, the committee chose this particular topic for the extensive discussion, supported by presentations from three AmCham Bulgaria member companies – UniCredit Bulbank, Philip Morris International and Scalefocus. The interesting topic was presented from different angles by these following speakers, who provoked many questions and a lively discussion:

To become an employer of choice, to achieve the right level of engagement with your people it is pretty challenging in the Bulgarian market, especially for an industry considered “mature” like Banking. He also explained the elements behind the concept of partnership and engagement and provided several hints and concrete examples about the tools to be implemented in your organization to have an engaged employee journey.

The Power of Involved Employees: Co-Design and Co-Implementation of the Employee Engagement Plan is key to its success (by Philip Morris International Bulgaria)
